Ella with Santa!!!

We tried to be really good this year and get Ella's picture with Santa done early...We prepped her by showing her Santa on Saturday when we were at the mall. She even gave him a high-five! I thought for sure she'd be o.k. (maybe I was a little nervous). This is the only picture I could get! I think I might have tramatized her forever!!! She was not happy. Needless to say, we left with this one picture on my camera, I didn't have to pay for a picture package (which is a very good thing), Ella with puffy red eyes, and of course "Hot Dog on a Stick" lemonade!!! I would say it all turned out O.K.!!!

This is exactly what happened with Jaylee last year. I'm hoping this year will be a better experience. Ella does look adorable though in her Christmas dress! It was fun having dinner with you guys on Saturday!

How funny! Riley went through the same thing a few years ago. Don't you feel bad for Santa though? Tough job huh?

Oh how happy! I have not seen you in ages! Your little family is beautiful. I absolutely love the name Ella, and congrats on that new little babe! Boys are so much fun. How in the world are you? Hope you guys are extra happy - you deserve it! I have to run but I'll be back to chat!

I don't understand why kids are so afraid of Santa. I think it has to do with his facial hair. Justin and I have a theory about that. Clayton went through that phase too! It will pass.

I think that Ella looks like you....Or even your mom. She is so cute. Don't worry about traumatizing her...She will still love Santa anyway

Cute! Ella is a doll. You must be one that starts playing Christmas music after Halloween, eh? J/K! I know you are just planning ahead for baby's arrival. What is your actual due date?

Ohh, she looks so sad. Don't worry though, my kids got over it, especially when they were old enough to understand that Santa was the one bringing them presents under the tree! Then they liked him!:)

Wade HATED Santa when he was 2. I, still, think he is a little "iffy" about him now. Santa is kind of weird looking to a little kid who has no idea who he is or supposed to be! Such a classic, cute pic though! I am glad you documented it, even if she didn't like it!

We tried to get extra tickets to the Jazz game through Jared's work, but found out today that they were all taken. If you end up still going, let us know and maybe we can have dinner before the game.

Amanda!! I was so excited to hear from you! I feel like I lost touch with you, and was so excited to know that you have a blog. Your little family is adorable, and Ella is so beautiful! I need your address, because every year you're on my christmas card list, and it always ends up sitting on my table w/ no address, it never fails, every year. This is the year. So this blogging thing is so great because we can keep in touch better. Congratulations, on baby #2!! I bet you're so excited! You look great, as always, even almost 8 mos. pregnant! Take care, and it's really great to hear from you!! Love ya, Erin
