So going back to our family 4th of July weekend. We went camping up near Panquitch, UT. It was a blast. Cason took us to "THE SPOT" where he always went growing up with his family. It was perfect!!!
Cason started the fire the 1st day we got there using flint and steel. He never had to put one match to it (or lighter fluid) . We all got to see how outdoorsy he really is!!!

Yeah! That was one of the 8 fish I caught that weekend. A couple were even with marshmellows! I was so proud of myself!!!
I will try to play catch up this week for the rest of the adventures that we've been having...

oh.... the spot. i was probably 16 the last time i was there. haha.
the only thing wrong with "the spot" is there is no toilets. how do survive with no toilets girl?

Yeah...A post update! It was great to see Cason's mad camping skills, we will definitely have to go again sometime, we'll make sure to bring a portable toilet. Thanks again for lettings us tag along. One of my favorite moments was watching Jessica and your Dad chat while trying to catch fish - He is so great with kids!
about the NO toilets!! that's just how it is up there!! the camping experience at "the spot" of mine and cason childhood (and the rest of our family) is the REAL DEAL!! i guess if the pioner could do it, so can we!! RIGHT?? i love that spot!! i hope you guys will go for labor day!! it's fun to have lots of poeple there!! goin' riding on the quads is the best part!! but the kids love runnin' around and fishing too!! good time!!
